WELCOME TO THE INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT OFFICE
The Institutional Assessment Office provides advisory for the implementation of the various assessment plans of services offices and the learning assessment plans. Also, this office coordinates initiatives to measure, assess and research together with various units of the Universidad del Turabo and SUAGM.
Measurement, assessment and planning are articulated through an orderly process between the Institutional Assessment Office, the Vice Presidency of Academic Affairs and Planning, and Auxiliary Vice Presidency of Planning and Institutional Research. The outcomes of these measurement initiatives, assessment and planning are properly evaluated by institutional bodies among which are the Chancellor's Office, The Academic Board Office and the Administrative Council of the University.
The Universidad del Turabo (UT) recognizes that institutions of excellence are self-reflective and continually seek improvement. To that end, UT Institutional assessment is guided by five (5) main components: Ana G. Méndez University System (SUAGM) Strategic Mission and Vision 2020, UT Mission and Vision, the Model for Institutional Assessment, the Assessment of Student Learning Plan, and the Assessment of Institutional Effectiveness Plan.
