Assessment of institutional effectiveness at UT is conducted in collaboration with the Office of the Vice Chancellor (OVC), the Office of the Vice President of Planning and Academic Affairs (OVPPAA), and the Office of the Vice President of Finance. The collaboration between these offices is an asset for the assessment process because each office brings different perspectives, resources, and data. The Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Assessment (OAVCA), which is a part of the OVC, serves to develop and monitor the efforts of all of UT units. Additionally, under the leadership of the OAVCA, campus and off-campus units collect data on key institutional indicators of effectiveness.
