Admission Requirements

Doctoral Degree in Naturopathic Medicine

 

1. Baccalaureate Degree – Completion prior to enrollment. Total postsecondary coursework must meet a minimum GPA 3.00 and completed at an accredited college or university, recognized by the United States Department of Education.

2. Prerequisite Coursework – The following course should be approved before registration, and an official transcript before registration on the program must be submitted.

3. Doctoral Admission Application – with a $75.00 nonrefundable application fee.

4. One (1) Letter of Recommendation – accompanying form an undergraduate or graduate academic reference, from a work experience (occupational) reference, and a health care provider or personal reference. Download here the Recommendation Letter format. Letters and forms must be current (within one year) and mailed directly from the reference to:

5. Personal Essay – The personal essay/statement should tell us about an applicant’s background, abilities, interests and experiences, and how these will make then good candidates for Naturopathic Medicine Program. Ideally, applicants should share some personal experiences and genuine thoughts in their essays. Explaining why they are applying to Turabo University is also helpful. The reading the essay. One page per essay question is the standard (ask for essay guidelines for more instructions).

6. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) – The resume DRCV should include work experience, activities, community service and any honor/awards received.

7. Participate in an interview with the Doctoral Admission’s Committee.
