This degree allows students to know the judicial criminal process, the criminal investigation techniques, the criminological theories, the rules of evidence and the principles of legal medicine. The program has a pre-legal approach because students are trained in the principles of criminal law, crime prevention, and criminal sociology so that they can develop analytical skills and be able to solve problems regarding crime and juvenile delinquency.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in supervised practicum experience in correctional facilities, victim witness assistance centers, and as observers of legal proceedings in court.
